This law is almost completely unenforceable. Ever hear of something called 'distracted driving'? In other words, just another feel good law on top of a law that already address's the perceived problem. It makes some people feel like their legislators are doing something, but it is largely a waste of time and resources. We have had this law in CT for about 2 years. It often takes Federal grants for local police to enforce in short spurts with spot checks. Of course, State police already have difficulty enforcing the no-passing on the right law, which is a much more dangerous epidemic in this car drenched state.
