Linux rules servers
Well, which is the more useful standard from the standpoint of developers, one that is used by 95% of desktops and 55% of servers, or one that is used by 2% of desktops and 25% of servers? Which is more "standard" if, as you admit, that many of the Linux standards are de facto?

Linus rules the server world not windows. 55% where did you get that distorted number from Microsoft?
2% of desktops? that would be only if you allow for Microsofts double and triple counting of licences.
Apple alone has more market share then 2%
Stop the FUD.
Open Source is the open standard.
Better get used to it.
