I would rather classify such consumers as "the fluff people"! They are easy to influence from a product marketing perspective (hype-driven consumers). They are quite ignorant about the technology behind the hype. They think they are cool because they know all the latest marketing fluff flying around. Last but not least, they are mostly teenagers (or adults who haven't quite grown out of their teens) who have no idea about the value of money.
