The DVD on the Phoenix Lander is made of ?: I'm not an expert, but I do recall reading that the DVDs on the Spirit and Opportunity (which include my name along with over three-million-plus others collected from a NASA website prior to launch) were indeed made of a special silica-glass-based material.
