I still have mine, and I still play it. It's still hella fun too,
but doesn't rack up the hours that the Wii does (but the
Wii is also loaded with a bunch of virtual console games,
so my time isn't spent on just Mario Kart and SSB Brawl).

Also, as for the 4 switch versus 6 switch - the 6 switch
model has a tv modulator switch on the bottom that lets
you switch between channels 2 and 3, while the 4 switch
model shifted the difficulty switches and the tv modulator
switch to the back of the unit.
