RE: (Photos: Cracking open the Atari 2600)
I have two of these (working model and a parts spare). I have about 40 games. My family still likes to play 2600 as well as our original Nintendo. The PS2 gets lots of hours, sure. However, as we all know, the games on PS2 require some study of key strokes secret codes, etc. in order to do moderately well in the game. Not the 2600! Just start and the fun begins. Maybe Nintendo's Wii success will redirect a segment of the gaming world back towards simplicity. It is the elegance of the simply gaming concepts that are the lost market share of the gaming industry!
