A good move
As usual, MS jumps into a market pioneered by others after it
has been established. It'll be interesting to see how it competes
against Adobe's lower end products.

Also, I think this article is promising a bit too much:
"digital photo software package meant to help consumers turn
relatively crummy photos, including those shot with camera
phones, into sharper images"

As we all know, you can't add resolution to a low res picture
after it's already been shot. Judging from most of the phone
cam pictures I've seen and taken myself, running a few filters
isn't going to make them into stunning works of art.
