What "freedom" are you talking about?
Freedom can only exist in a society where the majority of individuals have a solid foundation in righteousness, how to tell right from wrong and being able to distinguish between opinion and fact. The way things stand at this point we are light years away from that. Students in colledges are being taught by morally bankrupt liberal professors about how wonderful life was in the former Soviet Union. Nowadays, a university diploma is nothing more than a piece of paper saying the owner has no idea how to be a good citizen, is a hater of his country and would sell it to its enemies anytime if he or she hears the word peace. Right now most of the people use their "freedoms" to bang their heads against the wall.
