Nice idea, but....
Nice idea, but possible only if IT somehow caused another broad sea-change in society, very much like what happened in the mid 90's when the Internet blossomed - creating new markets, new investments, new technologies, new ways of life.

Incremental IT changes won't fix the sub-prime credit mess, lower the price of oil, reset the foreign exchange imbalance, or buoy the falling dollar...
