And show me where microsoft forces anything. Last I checked they aren't a hardware manufacturer. It's not exactly their fault that there isn't a viable alternative for manufacturers. They certainly don't want to get a million support calls on linux because there's no documentation and people's software won't run. If you want to talk a company that forces, look at apple. It's not legal to install their OS on any other system.

Sorry if I don't see forcing every plebian mass on earth to linux as a good idea, it actually takes half a brain to use.
