MS DRM "technology" vs "standards"
Just to clarify...
1. MS has been able to get their DRM model out to the consumer because they have a huge amount of exposure.
2. The Microsoft DRM Technology (wma, wmv, etc) is a completely non-functional pile of garbage. Everybody knows that... including MS.
3. The Microsoft DRM STANDARDS (which this kiosk system will be "in compliance with") have been generally accepted by RIAA, MPAA, and almost all of the 7 major studios.

Compliance with the standard does not necessarily mean it will use MS "technology". Besides, why would you use a name-brand DRM (MS, Apple, Sony) when you can make your own for 1/8th the price... and use the standards established by the most heavily exposed DRM-holder?
