Nano R and D
I am Richard Blake a student in Nano technology at North Seattle Community College. I am Earning a Electronics and Electronics Manufacturing degree as well as Nanotechnology both will be Associates of Applied Science I will graduate a year from Now. I recently toured a manufacturing facility at honeywell which uses much of the same technology in silicon Integrated Circuit manufacturing. Which is largely areas for cleaning and lots of Photo lithography equipment. I recently did I presentation on semiconducting or chirial band gap with carbon nanotubes. I understand that through steps in technological evolution scientist created Chemical Vapor Deposition which yielded a very high percentage of carbon nanotubes that were semiconducting relitive to the number of conductive band gaps that are profiled as Armchair and Zigzag carbon nanotubes. I understand that by creating billions of these perfect semiconducting nanofibers they can be used to create computer systems of great enough complexity that would surpass the estimated calculations of Moores Law.
I have knowledge of this subject I wish to expand on it and begin working with this new technology. I think its a good way to spend my time. Also when companys see how much money there is to be saved by this new superior technology I think that I could probibly get a pretty good job easily upon graduation.
Anyone interested in sending me links or conversations on this or any subject of which I am interested please feel free to contact me at my email address.
