This story was significant because the Governator of California directed state Attorney Generals (AGs) to let it go. The Dunn deal likely involved the other board she sat on, a Barkleys Bank board, and the polygamist monarchy that had purchased it and Dunn's methods were likely the methods of trans-national banks owned by polygamist monarchies with involvement in 911. Had State of California AGs continued with the case, the SubPrime mess likely would have become obvious sooner. I very much hope a book is being written with the Cnet reporters as the heroes.
