Whats wrong with Gmail

The user interface is as unintuitive as anything a sixth grader could patch together. It's a mess.

One of the most basic requirements is the ability to sort on any field with a single click. At the moment, you can't sort on any field, period.

Looking at emails in batches of 50 doesn't help when you have 1500 emails sitting in your in-box.

The label and contact functions are defective and poorly done.

I could go on and on. The designers were working without feedback and without watching how people used it. There is stupidity in there that should not have survived more than 30 seconds, but it's been there for years.

The forum is the only way to reach anyone, and that's defective too.

The whole thing sucks. Badly. It's the worst thing Google has produced since its ridiculous "I feel lucky" search button. I'm still shaking my head over that lunacy.

Google needs feedback. Lots of it. But they have isolated themselves from their users. As a result they are generating an angry, resentful mob.

Software as a service? LOL! That won't happen at Google with their current policies. The risk is far too great, and they are out of touch.

Android . . . uh-huh.
