I use a nokia E61 all the time and the screen appears to be the same size. NP. WiFi (B/G is required, N would be VERY nice)?

My questions will be what applications and open will it be. HTC ... Not open, Nokia more open, iPhone, not open. I want what I want on my handset, not what the vendor requires me to have. What will Google "require" on the handset and how much performance will it suck out of the handset.
