I always look for a point...
in articles that appear on ZDNet that really have nothing to to with the technology industry as a whole like this one. Unfortunately the author doesn't seem to have one. I find myself thinking about the trillions of dollars spent worldwide on things that the author would consider being fundamentally flawed because they aren't sexy. He mentions energy. Is oil really more sexy than wind energy or solar energy or any other kind of energy for that matter? Of course it isn't. But look how much money is spent in the energy market. It simply boggles the mind reading someone who would seem to be credible enough to have their own ZDNet column going on and on about the flaw in green technologies is that they aren't sexy enough. Maybe if we're all lucky they'll pull this guys plug and we won't be subjected to such mindless drivel anymore.
