- I dropped mine too.
- Little old lady pulled out in front of me on the street. I was running thru third gear real hard and she darted out. I left a 130 foot 7 inch slick skid with the front tire howling to stop. Had to swerve at last minute and did about $800 damage to the engine and folded the handle bars. Not a scratch on me due to boots, leather jacket, full face and jeans and gloves. Wasn't even soar, but was at her. She said she didn't see or hear it coming. She must have been real deaf because you can hear the intake howl 2 miles away coming at you, 5 miles at night. 2 cycles had that distinctive sound like a Stuka and some of the guys referred to it as a buzz bomb, especially the Brits that came to the shop.
