Desperately Needed
Since the FLSA has been shrunk down to exclude almost everyone in the IT business and almost everyone who sits behind a desk from overtime coverage, something must be done to prevent employers from demanding more and more of your time until you're working 80 hours a week, consistently.

In the legal business, big firm employers have grown to expecting 60-80 hours a week, not in crunch times but ALL the time, and this is terribly, terribly unhealthy. There's a reason the FLSA was enacted in the first place, and this is just stepping in and trying to replace desperately needed limits on employers trying to make you work 24x7.
