This is the kind of think that goes on in a board room.
When I worked at Yahoo! I sat in meetings where people thought and talked like this. You can do simple math like this. The analogy I made then (because of the audience) was that it was like adding normalized numbers. You can say that 25% in October, 25% in November, and 10% in December make up 20% (taking (25+25+10)/3 average) for the quarter. Because if basis is 1,000, 1,000, and 10,000,000 respectively, that's 10.003% for the quarter.

You are dealing with human emotions, user experience, social and cultural influences.

You can't expect to see these (mathematical) results happen. You have to make them happen. You _cannot_ be a force that makes them happen. You have give an experience, an influence, and make yourself desired.
