Well, there's no stopping Google
no matter the amount of portal acquisitions. Microsoft could only stop Google in court or buying up and turning off ISPs. At this point, Google is the people's monopoly on search and personal/business info data retention. Heck, nothing slows Google's acquisitions, not even the EU. Microsoft has lost this before they even started. They really should have resolved to lose on the software side and bought up the supply for hardware . .
