Windows was ripped from Apple?? Check your history
The Mac (GUI, mouse, etc.) was ripped off from Xerox, the iPhone was ripped off from LG, iPod ripped off from about a dozen other MP3 players before it (iTunes made the iPod, not the device itself), etc. - Steve Jobs's big "innovation" NextStep was a complete piece of crap - buggy dev environment you couldn't build anything bigger than a standalone app with, closed and limited hardware (oh wait - it was black, so the geeks thought it was cool) - Apple's got some great graphic artists and they've got a terrific spin/BS machine to hype their wares and are pretty good at mimicking the software others come up with first - but they're hardly innovators
