FAQ: What's next for Microsoft's Yahoo bid?
My own FAQ:

Is this a win for Microsoft and Yahoo?

Yes, as both are power houses in their respective fields. Microsoft is dominant in operating systems, Yahoo in services. Each can offer something to the other and bring a value that has never been heard of before to the table.

What makes it a good deal?

Microsoft and Yahoo intermixing technologies. Microsoft's growing presence of services, Yahoo's already existing presence. Microsoft's map data plus the nice layout of Yahoo. Yahoo has their Answers which has been an enormous success. Yahoo Finance merging with MSN's. I can see a lot of technologies being merged together to provide the ultimate online portal.

Who will lose in this deal?

Google.
