Geeze, and this guy calls himself a "scientist"?
"As a co-founder of Greenpeace, even though I was a scientist, I made the same mistake in those days as all the rest of my colleagues did. We kind of lumped nuclear energy in with nuclear weapons as if all things nuclear were evil. It was an honest mistake."

I recall that as a 6th grader, I was easily able to make the distinction between nuclear power and nuclear weapons. It really shouldn't have been any more difficult that understanding that electricity could be used to toast people in electric chairs, or to make toast in my kitchen.

At least it's nice to see him admitting to his gross ignorance, albeit several decades after the political damage has been done.

I wonder how many more decades it will take for the ?honest? scientists to repudiate anthropogenic ?global warming?.
