You fail at spelling.
I don't get this anti-Sony fad nowadays. They are not "forcing Blu-Ray down our throats." New media formats are invented every few years, and for major distributors to be on board there must be one widely adopted format. Did you complain when VHS came out? Or how about DVD? BRD is just the next link in the chain of media evolution. Sony was just one of many involved in pushing Blu-Ray as the next major movie format. Blu-Ray is a good format, and I for one am glad we're moving onward. I've been tempted to buy a Blu-Ray burner for a couple years, because of the huge capacity.
