- He's doing the right thing.
- I admire this arrangement. His base salary is just a buck, but his personal worth is tied directly to the fiscal health of the company he's in charge of. If he makes a misstep, it impacts him directly. If they have a breakout product, he gets rewarded in the same way the company gets rewarded. Compare that to other tech executives who get big bonuses and have their golden parachutes, while at the same time lopping headcount if they have a bad quarter or year. Everything changes when you have your own skin in the game.
