People are sick and tired...
of waiting on the IT industry to police itself. As in every other aspect of life, people need big brother to babysit. While the big IT companies are busy thinking only of themselves and how much money they can make, consumer be damned, IT has become a mess.

The government can only screw things up. But it is obvious that everyone involved in IT can only screw up as well.

Before you tell me how wrong that last statement is, tell me how it's getting any better the way it is. And NO one party is to blame. Everybody that uses IT, no matter how wonderful they think they are, is responsible for the pig sty which the Internet has become. If you are involved, your part of it. Myself as well.

Now that the inevitable has begun, things can only get worse. The government adds nothing but inefficiency to everything they get involved with.
