Government passes wrong bill? Don't they always?
Well, since when has the government ever gotten anything right? I haven't seen it in my lifetime...

The so-called spyware law should be a simple english sentence that everyone can understand. Perhaps one that is similar to the one stated by the previous poster.

I suggest : No software shall be loaded without securing the express consent of the computer's owner. Those guilty of loading code without the express consent of the owner shall be put to death by having their head locked in a small box with starving rodents.
