Excellent. About time, too.
I'll certainly be buying the Mac version, particularly since I'm sick of Vista's lower-
than-both-XP-and-Mac-OS gaming performance.

I have no idea what possessed me to install that godawful waste of space.

I'd been hoping initially that this simultaneous release date means it's not a DirectX
game. Besides the fact that the best computers available in the world can barely
run junk like "Crysis" (even though Oblivion looks much nicer, IMO >_>), the fact
that DirectPlay being used for every game's networking means I can't switch
between network interfaces, or even work out which one it's trying to use by default
(hint, it's always the one that's DISABLED), is just one of the little issues making the
PC gaming experience a bit of a chore...

So, will Mac users be getting the full-screen anti-aliasing and so forth that
Microsoft arbitrarily decided only Vista users are allowed to have? Or will we have to
boot up Vista ourselves to experience 'the DirectX 10 difference'?

I want to buy the Mac version, but if it's crippled in some fashion, you can count
me out. We'll just have to see whether I'm willing to sacrifice a few FPS and play it
on Vista instead. Unless I uninstall that OS out of annoyance in the meantime.

If anyone from EA is desperate enough to read this comment in search of market
opinion, here's one more thing: let us skip all your little logo cutscenes, OK? We
don't need to be reminded who made the game every time we fire it up. Also, you
didn't make the game. You're the publisher. Let the people who did the actual work
put their names first.
