Hmmm the EU.. A real monoply
All the EU needs to do is put a bit of their money into forming a new company to make chips, to force compitition in the chip business like they did with Airbus in the Aerospace business.. Airbus was a non extintant company the EU formed that took billions in EU cash for development and capital expenses to put several other aerospace companies out of business.. This cost thousands and thousands of good paying American Jobs (including mine).I have no love for the EU they need to keep their nose out of my pocket, and out of my computer. Because of the EU I have to pay more and be inconvenienced for airtravel cause I won't fly on an Airbus.
I've used AMD in all but one of my homebuilt computers, needed to build a new one back in December. Wanted to build a quad core machine but AMD couldn't get their act together and had problems with their quad so I had to go to Intel.First Intel machine I've ever built, it works and if AMD is ready when I want to build a new one in the future I may go back it'll depend on price and performance at the time..
