"the real truth is that the world's leading producer of CO2 (by *far*) is ocean algae. CO2 is *not* a problem - it is naturally beneficial to plant growth, as other types of plants consume it and in turn restore oxygen to the air."

Algae, being plants (even the ones in the ocean), are major carbon fixators (making organic chemicals from CO2 for animals to eat). This ain't liberal talk, it's science. Challenge: Show us a legitimate article where it says that algae are new CO2 producers, you won't find one.
