There is no team when competition isn't fair
Bonds and Franklin and 90 other baseball "heros" took steroids for the team. Oh Bravo Sierra. They cheated so that they could stay on the team because other athletes were competing against them and this is what happens in the business world teams as well. It is why cultures of silence are developed and why honest competitors are encouraged to leave or are even voted out as in the case of Enron.

The entire business and society at large are harmed when individual's are not rewarded for individual as well as group efforts. Do you think mediocre performers rate star performers well? They might. I don't think so. Eventually you get team think and cheating. It just is not and can not be the US way.
