How is IE an inferior browser? What does opera or firefox offer that IE doesn't?

Yes you can change OS's on your laptop but that does not mean you can tell an OS what should and should not be included with the system. IE adds functionality to the Windows. You don't have to use IE if you don't want to. There is no need to uninstall it like so many are claiming.

IE recognizes enough of the HTML tags to make it a good browser. Like I said earlier the standards are just guidelines and don't have to be followed, but Microsoft chooses to follow them anyway. And you still have that choice, no one said you had to code for a particular browser.
