Bottom line without the subsidies alternative would be wiped out by the sheer momentum of the large oil conglomerates. This is another example of corporate abuse at the expense of our health and our environment. There are alternative ways to sustain our life styles without the extreme negative impact on our environment or resources.

But greed and corruption are preventing us from moving into the 21st century. No, we are stuck in the last century, while only seeing slight improvements. While I am not religious, I will admit the bible has this one right, greed is the root of all evil. devil
