good idea BUT....

I do agree with people saying that they would prefer something that you can attach to your hand instead.

think about it..
it is a good technology for a computer to see you and response to your movement yes,
but it is not very effective in many situations. we do not control things with our hands strictly speaking,
we use a control devices for that do for action games like boxing, and such the camera control might be ok but is limited to sight,
where a glove fitted to your hand would be better since it can detect more of your movement with better precision.
a combination of glove and a camera would be even better since the glove can detect your hands movement and camera can capture you hands position relative to your body
and other objects. Just saying that this device would be a better and only needed controller is not very accurate.
Wii has it merits but it is limited since it only detect your hands movement but not position, I can be seating and move my hands and it will response the same as if I
standing there. I would prefer a gloves fitted to my hand that not only detect and transmit movement of my hands but give me feedback.
then I would be able to fell the contorts and objects in a simulated world and then this glove would be my only means of controls I need.
Imagine if you will environment where you can manipulate objects in the SIM but get a tactical feed back as you do so.

No need for new yokes or joist stick of any kind. heck no need for real mouse or even keyboard. just a reliable wireless connection that is universal and supports multiple
entry simultaneously. you have your own set of gloves that are fitted to your hands and can connect to any device using the tech.
you can type anywhere and any way you, like, the keyboard layout and preferences would be programmed in you glove interface.
so are the mice config, game controllers etk.
