Has anyone actually received an OLPC laptop?
I have been waiting since 12/10/07 for the laptop, and it took me over a month to get any kind of response from the OLPC people. The response I finally got provided a "reference number" that I entered into their status page, but it returned no results. Additional attempts to obtain information by direct e-mail and through Paypal have resulted in "non-responsive" responses. The responses are eerily similar to the exchanges I've seen on Web pages set up by people who respond to the Nigerian bank scammers and toy with them.

I have two questions: (1) Has anyone actually received the laptop they ordered?; (2) Has anyone seen any INDEPENDANT media coverage that confirms that these laptops are being delivered in any significant quantities to the children who are supposed to be getting them?
