You are not a Windows fanboi? Besides, maybe Peru didn't want to be compatible with all of the virus's the rest of the world enjoys. (XP is the only choice on such a low spec PC, if Vista would run, the virus would be less true).

Admit what? They are ramping up VERY nicely, probably ~1M laptops by years end into the hands of kids who need them, robust, cute, powerful (lots of applications), secure, virus free, malware free, etc.
