Your list is almost as long as the updates in my add/remove window
As for FUD it doesn't take a genius to know who is best at that. I remember a time when Microsoft was trying to make java applets look like a security risk and activeX the secure technology of the day. What is that saying? There are lies, damn lies and Microsoft press releases? No experience, (like my windows partition suddenly not being able to be read last week even though I have a antivirus, hardware and software firewalls, spyware removal program, and an alternate browser) will define people's opinion of Microsoft. I find SUSE9 to be a very stable operating system. There are updates but that is to be expected. By the way, I have not found the need to have to restore my Linux partition. I may be venting but I would really like to see Linux reach it's potential.
