Actually it would not
The problem is with "wonderful and flaw free". the problem is with marketing and perception where Microsoft monopolized grounds many years ago.

The proof? Aplle MacOSX which is definitely something Microsoft only struggles for and announces as Longhorn (or they changed that name already). And that system is also 2-3% of the market. Why? Well, marketing. It is even not price as you could sell better product for higher price if you marketed it differently. Apple does not need wide audience as it has established target customer (I am one of them by the way wink Linux needs that on desktop, but so far even Red Hat failed. SuSE/Novell had a modest success, but let see...

Any software has flaws. It is just important how they are dealt with which means also how customers are dealt with. So far my expereince with Red Hat, Apple (and Caldera at the time it was not SCO) were good while SuSE failed a few years ago on competence, politness and speed of service.
Microsoft? Well, they try to teach what they are not supposed to for how to "use" example Java and they do that through their incompetent agents with MCSE.
