That South Park episode
showed that people are more interested in emulating the experience of a rocker and not going through the pains and lessons to become an experienced player. Now, if the quitar and piano instruction learning tools were as fun and addictive and console friendly, people who learn by those methods would develop quicker and others would pick it up as well. I don't know, but isn't the quitar games just more button mashing then cord and string learning?? Won't one disappoint the other??
