Can't they do better?
The first time I saw Guitar Hero, I laughed. I wondered how anyone could waste such
an immense amount of time with a program that lets you pretend to play guitar. And
now you can find hundreds of videos on Youtube with people showing off their latest
conquests in Guitar Hero. I think it would be more beneficial if it really had all of the
frets functional and that they were tied to real note names. That way they could
actually be learning notes as they go along. Having said that, I guess I can see the
benefits of at least learning rhythm with the game. But I think they could do better
and still keep people interested.
