Oh, the ego of mankind...
Only the sun can prevent "global warming". Maybe a huge volcanic eruption can polute the atmosphere with ash to create a temporary reduction in global temps, but it all boils down to the star that powers this solar system.

Sunlight is life. Carbon is in everything organic, including we tiny humans and the beloved rainforests. CO2 is required to sustain life. Water vapor is by far the largest constituent of "greenhouse gas", it makes CO2 look inconsequential in comparison. We've declared war on carbon and carbon dioxide, so who's going to jump on the bandwagon to eradicate water?

Anthropomorphic Global Warming is a political movement, not a scientific one. It amazes me to see how little concern there is to modify and restrict the behavior of the Chicoms, but we need to go bankrupt trying to "save the planet". China has coal seam fires burning out of control that put out more emissions than all of the cars in the US. What little we do to save a gallon of gasoline, the increased demand in China will devour that gallon and billions more. It's a global market and a global demand. Stop thinking that you can isolate a tiny part of that demand and make a global impact. Will the Chicoms thank us for the reduced cost of oil?

Yes, we should be good stewards of our environment and we also shouldn't be killing our enjoyment of life for a contrived fantasy.
