1970 Impala with worn tires - ala tugboat style
Simple solution. Hit me and bounce.

Or, better still, stop giving out driver licenses like candy. My daughter failed her drivers test the first time out (62%), so the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division employee coached her through the second test (given 10 minutes after she failed the first).

When I got my license, I had to prove to an intelligent and unwavering state patrol officer that I deserved it. When I found out I had to drive a 1 ton truck for a job, I had to get another license to provide that I could actually handle a truck with a ton of added weight in the back. Today, I can buy a 3-1/2 ton SUV, load up an entire neighborhood's worth of kids and plow only the highway at 70MPH and not even have to prove that my feet can reach the pedals or that I can maneuver the thing. Oh, and I can talk on my cell phone while doing my eyebrows...

You want to make the roads safer, make safer drivers and the cars will take care of themselves.
