You wanted facts?
Glad to supply them. Now, can anyone point to anywhere near
the same level of evidence for "lies" in Kerry ads?

As far as Bush's ads being truthful, hmm, let's ask the
Washington Post:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A3222
-2004May30.html
"The charges were all tough, serious -- and wrong, or at least
highly misleading. Kerry did not question the war on terrorism,
has proposed repealing tax cuts only for those earning more
than $200,000, supports wiretaps, has not endorsed a 50-cent
gasoline tax increase in 10 years, and continues to support the
education changes, albeit with modifications.

Scholars and political strategists say the ferocious Bush assault
on Kerry this spring has been extraordinary, both for the volume
of attacks and for the liberties the president and his campaign
have taken with the facts. Though stretching the truth is hardly
new in a political campaign, they say the volume of negative
charges is unprecedented -- both in speeches and in
advertising."

Or say, the New York Times:

NEW YORK TIMES: ?NO PROOF? FOR AD CLAIMS
?The Bush campaign has offered no proof that Mr. Kerry changed
his stand on the law because he was "pressured by fellow
liberals,'' other than to say Mr. Kerry's criticism of the law
followed that of the American Civil Liberties Union and Howard
Dean of Vermont. Several Republicans who voted for the act
have since expressed misgivings about it, too, without prodding
from liberals. . In October, the Bush campaign's chairman, Marc
Racicot, told a questioner at an Arab-American Institute
conference that changes in the law might be in the offing, saying
that members of Congress ?presently have legislation pending to
provide refinements to that act, to bring that balance even truer
than it has been, so that it does not end up invading the civil
rights of any American.? Contrary to this advertisement's claim,
Mr. Kerry has not called for the repeal of the act's expanded use
of wiretaps and other surveillance tools in terrorism
investigations. He has, rather, called for a greater level of judicial
oversight.? [NY Times, 5/26/04]

How about USA Today?
USA TODAY: BUSH AD WRONG ON FACTS
?Kerry has not said he wants to repeal the act.? [USA Today, 5/
26/04]

Let's try the Associated Press:
ASSOCIATED PRESS: ?NO EVIDENCE? FOR AD CLAIMS
?But there is no evidence that Kerry ?changed his position?
because of views held by the ACLU or Dean. And just how much
Kerry changed his position -- if at all -- is debatable.? [Sidoti,
Associated Press, 5/25/04]

A little more obscure, The Cincinnatti Inquirer:
CINCINATTI ENQUIRER: ?SIMPLY UNTRUE?
?Tuesday, a new Bush ad claimed Kerry, "pressured by fellow
liberals," would repeal "wiretaps, subpoena powers and
surveillance against terrorists" under the USA Patriot Act. That's
simply untrue.? [?A Swarm of Distortions,? Editorial, Cincinnati
Enquirer, 5/26/04]

And back to the New York Times:
"Mr. Bush's campaign has been singled out as going particularly
far with some of its claims" in advertisements attacking John
Kerry, with charges that have been called "misleading,"
"specious," "bogus," and "disingenuous." (New York Times, 5/
25/04
