If Vista is a flop, what is OSX?

An abject failure of unprecedented proportions? Hehe, it only took a couple months for Vista to get more marketshare than OSX has captured in 7 years!

The only way people can say Vista isn't doing well is by comparing it to XP, an OS which has done better than any OS in the history of mankind and has earned MS more profits by itself than every single product ever released by Apple. When Vista is compared to all other OSs currently being offered, it completely dwarfs them all in terms of commercial success. I'm sure Apple would kill for the profits associated with just one "flop" like Vista!

He thinks M$ has a chance to capture the mobile market. He just doesn't realize that M$ is coming down the ladder, while Apple and Google are on the way up.

I'll agree that MS is a bit player in the mobile market which is why comparing Apple to MS here is nothing to be particularly proud of. Let me know when Apple puts a dent in Symbian's marketshare. The funny thing is that using the same criteria for "bit player in the market" I used above, Apple is a bit player in the computer market!
