- VR marches on.
- I've been wondering when Google was going to get into the virtual reality business. Places like Second Life are nice, but going to "fantasy worlds" only holds my attention for so long. Meeting a person in a real location virtually has been an enticing prospect ever since reading about the idea in SF stories. Once the concept of big cities has been finished, it will be great to see small towns done up the same way. The next step then would be to see older buildings modelled that have been demolished. Then a person could literally go back in time to see someplace like Chicago say back in 1920!
