Fixing a broken patent system

Be very afraid: whenever you hear large corporations clamor for reform.

And there's nothing wrong with holding companies. They purchased those patents from the actual inventors.

Here's the dirty little secret. Most big companies are pushing for patent reform because they are tired having to pay the little guy for their inventions. This is nothing new. Wright spent much of his life fighting lawsuits over his patent on heavier-than-air flight.
