World's most boring TV show to measure energy use

WAIT!

I thought LCD displays consumed LESS energy the CRT displays!

I know plasma displays use just about as much energy as CRTs.

What gives? Unless the "savings" are used up by the increase in
display size. I assume a 65" rear projection tube display is a
power hog.
