Yes, you and I are special, both being of the only species made in the image of the creator and have a future of being exhalted ABOVE the angels. No, neither one of us descended from anything, let alone an ape. Even if we did come from apes, I would call it a distinct "ascent" on every level.

You have faith in life you have not seen and I have faith in a God I cannot physically see, but believe has left more proof of his interaction with man than the "moon men" we so often moon over. Either we are BOTH in denial or we both have faith, but we are on the same level here, a level of FAITH.

I admit I would be astounded to see life out there, but are you any more mentally prepared to accept the earth as the unique home of all life in all creation? I will accept other life if it comes. Until then, accept your unique and honored place place in creation.
