I've used Thunderbird both v1 and v2... when it works it is a beautiful thing, but both versions have failed on me a number of times and always the profile gets corrupted... Sometimes I can recover SOME of the profile and a few times had to start from scratch. Then there's the problem of mobility... I have become much more mobile and an on-line Web-based system makes more sense... I tried all of them: Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, Net Identity (stay away from them!), 2 different ISPs: Go Daddy & Netfirms, and finally Gmail. Gmail, BY FAR, is the superior product. My only complaint with them is speed, but then, THATs my complaint for anything computer related!
