Sounds like a crock of Chinese noodles to me.
If someone actually did manage to sit for three solid days and surf the web / play games, then it is no surprise that he died. Oh yeah... and he was a moron.

Personally, I have doubts that the story is true. After all, these are the Chinese we are talking about. They invent whatever stories they need to for the purpose of accomplishing their goals (keeping their citizens in check and furthering their Communist agenda).
